Kuivaniemi nursing home in Ii
The target building roof had previously been covered with a thick layer of ice inside roof structure. To the attic of the property was added blowing wool 500mm everywhere (previously about 0-300mm). Previously, the property had roof leaks, the eaves of the decking broke and the water was causing internal damage.
After the installation of the blowing wool, the heating cost was reduced by about 10 MWh. The most significant money savings for the property comes from the reduction of repair costs.
