Valtari schools roof repair and additional heat insulation. The low part of the school’s flat roof was demolished and turned into a gently sloping brush roof. At the same time, the old thermal insulation was removed and replaced with blown wool insulation.
Motivation was to reduce costs, managing rainwater out of the building in a controlled way, renovating the roof.
Better insulation reduces costs in heating and saves environment as co2 load is reduced too.
