We started testing solar energy in Ii with 10 kW electricity- and 10 kW heatproduction in 2014. The test results were surprisingly good (payback period less than 11 years), so we got excited to participate in joint acquisition of solar power systems organized by Finnish environment institute. In this joint acquisition Ii ordered 11 solarpowerplants which was biggest amount of all Finlands municipalities.
In Ii micropolis we have 295 solarpanels with total power of 81,1 kW
